What a wedding photo QR code does
A QR code is a shortcut. Instead of typing a long link, a guest points the phone camera at the code and the upload page opens. On Thankeeu that page is already your wedding: your names, your photo and one big button to upload.
Because the code opens a normal web page, it works on every modern iPhone and Android phone without any app. Older relatives manage it fine, and the teenagers will have uploaded twenty photos before the starters arrive.
Designing and printing your QR card
When you open your wall you get a QR card designer. Pick the wording, the colours and the layout to match your stationery, then print it at home or send it to your printer. A small standing card on each table works best, with a larger one on the welcome sign.
Print the code at least 3 centimetres wide so phones pick it up from across a table, and test one copy with your own phone before you print the full set.
Where to put the QR code at your wedding
- Every reception table: This is where most photos get shared, usually between courses and during the speeches.
- The welcome sign: Guests see it as they arrive and start uploading from the ceremony.
- The bar and the photo booth: Two places where people already have their phones out.
- The order of service or the menu: A small code in the corner is enough.
- Your invitation or wedding website: Guests who cannot come can still send photos from the engagement, the hen do or the stag weekend.
What happens after a guest scans
They choose up to 20 photos and 10 videos, add their name and email, write a message if they want to, and send. Their upload appears on your wall with their name on it. The wall refreshes on its own about every 30 seconds, so if you have it open on a TV at the venue, the room watches it fill up.
After the wedding, the same code keeps working. Leave the cards out at the after party or put the link in your thank you message, and the late photos still reach you.
How your wedding wall works
- Open your wall. Add your names and the date, pick a wall design or a colour, and put a photo of you two at the top. It takes a few minutes and costs nothing.
- Print your QR card. Design the table card in the editor and print one for every table, the welcome sign and the bar. You can also show it on a screen.
- Guests share. They scan with the phone camera, choose photos and videos, add their name and a message, and send. No app and no account.
- Keep every file. Watch the wall fill up during the party, then download every photo and video in full quality, with a folder for each guest.
Invitations and RSVP, built in
Paste your guest list and each guest gets an invitation by email. They reply attending, maybe or can’t make it, with how many are coming, dietary needs and a song for the dance floor. You see every reply in your dashboard, remind anyone who has not answered, and download the list for your caterer.
Your song on your wall
Add a song you love and it plays softly for everyone who opens your wall, so it feels like your wedding and nobody else’s. Guests can mute it with one tap.

Questions couples ask
How do I get a QR code for my wedding photos?
Open your wedding wall on Thankeeu. Your QR code is ready straight away, with a card designer so you can print it on table cards or a welcome sign.
Do guests need an app to scan the QR code?
No. The phone camera reads the code and opens the upload page in the browser. There is nothing to install.
How big should the QR code be?
At least 3 centimetres wide on a table card. On a welcome sign or a screen, bigger is better. Test one print with your phone first.
Can I show the photos live at the reception?
Yes. Open your wall on a laptop connected to a TV or projector. It refreshes on its own about every 30 seconds as guests upload.
Does the QR code stop working after the wedding?
No. Guests can keep uploading from the same code and link after the day.
Is the QR code free?
Yes. Opening your wall, designing the card and collecting uploads is free. You pay $20.99 once to unlock the full upload limits, the download of every file and the gift pot.
