Why couples move cash gifts online
Envelopes go missing, bank details get shared in a dozen private messages, and relatives abroad struggle to send money at all. Many guests would simply rather give money than pick something from a list, and they want to say a few words when they do.
On your Thankeeu wall the gift sits with the upload. A guest shares their photos, writes a message and, if they want to, adds a gift. You see who gave what, next to what they said.
How the gift pot works
- Turn it on: Switch on the gift pot when you open your wall. You can open the wall without it if you prefer.
- Guests choose an amount: They type any amount in the currency they pick. Before paying, they see the exact total including a small processing fee.
- You keep every gift: The processing fee is paid by the guest, so the full amount they chose goes into your pot.
- Take it out: Withdraw the pot to your bank account, or turn it into a gift card.
Guests at home and abroad
Family in Nigeria, friends in the UK and colleagues in the USA can all give from the same link in a currency that suits them. Nobody has to work out an international bank transfer or ask you for your account number.
The amount each guest gives shows on their upload on your wall, so writing thank you notes later is simple.
How to tell guests about the gift pot
Most couples add one line to the invitation or the wedding website, such as: if you would like to give a gift, you can add one when you share your photos on our wall. Guests who prefer to give in person still can, and nobody feels pressed.
On the day, the QR card on each table does the rest. Guests scan it to share their photos, and the gift field is there if they want it. Family abroad can use the same link from home, before or after the wedding.
A gift and a memory together
A bank transfer tells you an amount. An upload on your wall tells you who it came from, what they wished you, and what the day looked like from their seat. That is the difference couples notice.
How your wedding wall works
- Open your wall. Add your names and the date, pick a wall design or a colour, and put a photo of you two at the top. It takes a few minutes and costs nothing.
- Print your QR card. Design the table card in the editor and print one for every table, the welcome sign and the bar. You can also show it on a screen.
- Guests share. They scan with the phone camera, choose photos and videos, add their name and a message, and send. No app and no account.
- Keep every file. Watch the wall fill up during the party, then download every photo and video in full quality, with a folder for each guest.
Invitations and RSVP, built in
Paste your guest list and each guest gets an invitation by email. They reply attending, maybe or can’t make it, with how many are coming, dietary needs and a song for the dance floor. You see every reply in your dashboard, remind anyone who has not answered, and download the list for your caterer.
Your song on your wall
Add a song you love and it plays softly for everyone who opens your wall, so it feels like your wedding and nobody else’s. Guests can mute it with one tap.

Questions couples ask
How do guests give a cash gift?
When they upload their photos to your wall, they can open the gift field, enter an amount in their currency and pay after their photos have uploaded.
Does Thankeeu take a cut of our gifts?
No. The guest sees and pays a small processing fee on top of their gift, so you keep the full amount they chose.
Can guests abroad give?
Yes. Guests pick the currency they want to pay in, so family and friends in other countries can give from the same link.
How do we receive the money?
Once your wall is paid, you can withdraw the gift pot to your bank account or turn it into a gift card.
Do guests have to give a gift?
No. The gift is optional. Guests can share photos and a message without giving anything.
What does the wall cost?
Opening your wall and collecting uploads and gifts is free. You pay $20.99 once for your wedding before you take out the gift pot or download your files.
